Colin was born and raised in Ephrata and earned his business degree from West Chester University. He started his career with Myers & Bell in 2006 and purchased the agency in 2016. In addition to overseeing everyday operations and management, Colin’s areas of expertise include business development and consultation, comprehensive insurance program business and risk analysis. He loves the outdoors, traveling, spending time on the horse farm, and basketball. Colin enjoys involvement in his community through sponsorships and volunteering.
Agency founder, Clayton Bell, has lived and worked in the Ephrata area since 1978. He was an education major at Grove City College and taught math in the Hempfield school district until starting the agency in 1980. He is Past President of the Ephrata Borough Council. Outside of the office Clayton enjoys golfing, playing pool and sports.
Keith specializes in work with school districts and larger business accounts. His insurance career began in 1974 with Aetna Insurance Company. In 1977 he moved to the agency side of the business selling personal and commercial lines. Keith was born and raised in Pittsburgh but has called Ephrata home for over 45 years. Deeply rooted in this community, he is past president of the Ephrata Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ephrata Recreation Center, and a founding member and chairman of the M. Elvin Byler Memorial Sertoma Club.
As a licensed agent since 2016, Kurt prides himself on customer service and is a proficient personal and commercial lines agent. He was born in Lancaster, grew up in Bloomsburg and studied Business at the University of Pittsburgh. Before working in the insurance industry, Kurt worked in multiple aspects of admissions for proprietary schools in the county, serving as the Director of Admissions for multiple campuses. Kurt has a wife of 7 years, Caitlin, and they have a son, Cleary. He is a member of the Millersville Lions Club and an active advocate and fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. When Kurt is not working, you can find him spending time with his family or on the golf course.
Ellen Stark joined the Myers and Bell team in 2020 and became a licensed agent in 2021. Her career includes previous office management positions with a primary focus in customer relations. She is passionate about providing superior service to clients as well as maintaining long term relationships with them.
Ellen was born and raised in Ephrata and has strong ties to the community. In her downtime, she enjoys staying active with her family and their three rescue dogs, cooking, and being outdoors.
